Magnitude 4.9 earthquake rattles Southern California

Los Angeles, CA — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake shook Southern California on Monday,causing buildings to sway and residents to brace for potential aftershocks. The quake struck at 1 P.M., centered near San Bernardino County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
